Buxton police seek information about four abandoned puppies

The four puppies were reportedly found on the side of a road in Buxton and were taken to the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland.

BUXTON, Maine — An animal control officer in Buxton is seeking information about four puppies that were seemingly abandoned.

The Buxton Police Department said in a Facebook post the puppies were reportedly found on the side of a road and were taken to the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland where they currently remain.

Police encourage anyone who may know where the puppies came from or has knowledge of a mother dog that may have had puppies recently like the ones in the image below to contact Animal Control Officer Perkins via Buxton dispatch at 207-929-6612.
