CAPE ELIZABETH, Maine — A Cape Elizabeth boy caught a rare blue lobster on Sunday, Sept. 15.
Jack Lombard submitted the pictures to the Near Me section of the NEWS CENTER Maine app.
In the submission, Lombard wrote that 15-year-old Quentin Lombard caught the crustacean in Kettle Cove in Cape Elizabeth.
Lombard said the lobster was about to shed.
