DIXVILLE NOTCH, N.H. (NEWS CENTER) — The Balsams still looks stately when you drive by on Route 26 in Dixville Notch, New Hampshire — until you look closely. Many windows are missing and some of the out buildings are falling down.
The once proud resort needs millions of dollars in TLC, and Les Otten believes he's just the guy to find it.
He is endeavoring to put together a $143 million package that will rebuild the hotel, vastly expand the ski area and restore the Donald Ross golf course.
