MAPLETON, Maine (NEWS CENTER)--Fox Family Potato Chips are believed to be the only Maine manufactured chips. That's surprising when you consider that potatoes have been a staple of Aroostook farming for 200 years.
Rhett Fox, whose family has been in the potato business for 200 years, decided to build a company. In a small facility in Mapleton, he makes three types of chips: salt, salt and pepper, and hot.
Fox uses Russet potatoes and boasts that his chips have no trans-fat-free and have no artificial colors, ingredients or preservatives.
The are a hearty and tasty chip.
