Associated Press Music Editor Mesfin Fekadu has named Beyoncé's “Lemonade" the No. 1 album of the decade.
Fekadu says the usually private Beyoncé bares her soul on the album, singing about a troubled relationship, black pride and motherhood in a brave way. He adds that lyrically, she’s on point and honest over beats and sounds that range from rap to rock to country and pop.
The list, including 15 albums, also includes another Beyoncé album and releases from Rihanna, Adele, Kendrick Lamar, HAIM, SZA, Janelle Monáe, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Solange, Sam Smith, Nas, Taylor Swift and Kacey Musgraves
