BANGOR, Maine — Sam Olsen is a multiskilled journalist at NEWS CENTER Maine in Bangor.
Sam joined the NEWS CENTER Maine team in June 2022.
Sam grew up in the Chicago area and attended the University of Missouri School of Journalism in Columbia, Missouri.
Sam graduated from Mizzou in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Journalism degree with a minor in psychology. She worked at KOMU-TV in Columbia, Missouri, in the news and sports departments as a reporter, producer and anchor covering mid-Missouri.
One of her most memorable experiences at KOMU was covering high school football every Friday night for special segment called Friday Night Fever.
When not chasing a story, you can find Sam watching movies, spending time with friends and family, or exploring all that Maine has to offer.
