PORTLAND, Maine — David is a reporter based in NEWS CENTER Maine’s Portland newsroom.
He is a Dixfield native, where he grew up watching NEWS CENTER Maine newscasts. He joined his hometown station in October of 2021.
David loves meeting fellow Mainers who don’t seek the spotlight but trust him to tell their story – a story that deserves to be told.
David attended Dirigo High School and then the University of Maine. Before coming home to NEWS CENTER Maine, he was a reporter/anchor at WVII/WFVX in Bangor and a reporter at Spectrum News Kentucky in Louisville.
He has bourbon recommendations for those who want them.
David is a 2023 regional Edward R. Murrow Award winner.
He enjoys taking ferries to islands in the middle of winter, driving to ski towns in the middle of summer, and going home to his mill town to see mom.
