Portland's Emily Sweeney, 'I'm fine. No broken bones,' after horrific Olympic crash

UPDATE: Emily Sweeney spoke to NBC broadcast officials saying, 'I'm fine. Banged up, but no broken bones.' Sweeney was taken to a local hospital for more tests.

(NEWS CENTER Maine) - Portland's Emily Sweeney has crashed on her 4th and final luge run Tuesday.

In a scary scene, Sweeney lost control on one of the steep turns and flipped completely over, tumbling down the ice. She came to a stop, moving, but not off the course. Medical personnel quickly attended to her as she lay on the ice.

PROFILE: EMILY SWEENEY, LUGE

After about ten minutes, Emily stood up and was able to walk off the course on her own, showing a slight limp. She waved to the crowd but showed signs of pain.
