(NEWS CENTER) -- The Winter Olympics start in less than a month, and we now have one more Mainer to cheer for.
On Saturday, Russell Currier of Stockholm was named to the Men's U-S Biathlon team. The 30-year-old Caribou High School graduate was the discretionary pick of the U.S. Biathlon Association panel.
Currier previously competed in the 2014 Olympics in Sochi. He is the second Maine biathlete to qualify. Clare Egan of Cape Elizabeth is also competing for the women's team.
