*UPDATE* 3/30 5 a.m. -- District leaders made the decision to cancel classes through Friday at Windham High School, Windham Middle School and Windham Primary School.
*UPDATE* 3/29 6:45 p.m. – The bomb threat was written on a bathroom wall inside the school, according to a release from police. Students discovered and reported the threat immediately following the time students were dismissed for the day.
The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information regarding the threat is asked to call Windham School Resource Officer Seth Fournier at sfournier@rsu14.org or stfournier@windhammaine.us.
*UPDATE* 3/29 5 p.m. – A K-9 sweep of the building found nothing suspicious, Prince said. The RSU 14 superintendent said Windham High School would be reopened sometime soon for evening activities.

WINDHAM (NEWS CENTER Maine) — Students and faculty at Windham High School were evacuated Thursday afternoon due to a bomb threat, the school district's superintendent said in a tweet.
"As of 2:30 p.m. today, 3.29.18, we have a bomb threat at WHS," RSU 14 Superintendent Sanford Prince tweeted. "For safety precautions we are evacuating the high school."
Prince said state and local police were contacted and a canine search was requested.
