Officials have identified the body found beneath the rubble of a burned home in Millinocket as 67-year-old Frederick Pasquine.
The Maine State Fire Marshal's Office says the two-and-a-half story home on Hemlock Street was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived on the scene around 3:30 a.m. Thursday, December 20.
Officials continue to investigate the cause of the fire.
Pasquine is the 21st person in Maine to die this year by fire according to Maine Public Safety spokesman, Steve McCausland.
