BRECKENRIDGE, Colorado (NEWS CENTER Maine) — A Maine man who was skiing in Colorado died Thursday after hitting a tree.
Derek Cressey from Windham, Maine was skiing at Breckenridge Ski Resort when he crashed into a tree around 9:50 a.m. on Thursday, March 8.
Summit County Sheriff's Office in Colorado said Cressey was taken to a first aid room at the ski resort and pronounced dead.
Cressey was wearing a ski helmet at the time of his crash.
