Maine High School Swimming & Diving Championships

ORONO, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The Maine High School Swimming & Diving Championships took place again on Monday at the University of Maine. Monday featured "Maine High School Girls Class B".

ORONO, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The Maine High School Swimming & Diving Championships took place again on Monday at the University of Maine. Monday featured "Maine High School Girls Class B".

One of the events that took place Monday was the "Girls 200 Yard Medley Relay". The winning team was Cape Elizabeth High School.

The winners were Caroline Mahoney, who swam the backstroke, Rose Baillie who swam the breast stroke, Olivia Tighe who swam the butterfly and Alicia Lawrence who swam freestyle.

Their time was 1:48:61 which not only set a meet record but also set a state record.
