(NEWS CENTER Maine) -- Martin Philip is the head baker for King Arthur Flour in Vermont, and now author of a book he calls, "Breaking Bread: A Baker's Journey Home in 75 Recipes."
The book, of course, features some of his best tips on the perfect bread; recipes for soups and other delicious meals; and hand-drawn instructions.
What adds to the allure, is Philip's story. He went to college for classical music and moved to New York City to pursue a career as an opera singer. When that wasn't cutting it, he took a job in finance.
But even that wasn't enough for Philip; he wasn't happy yet. So his journey continued and brought him to a starter job working for King Arthur Flour.
His advice: find your happiness and follow it.
