OAKLAND, Maine — Maine State Police say the death of an Oakland man appears to be accidental. The body of 25-year-old Robert Wade was found in his apartment Tuesday night by Oakland Police.
Police had gone to the apartment at 3 Heath Street after a relative of Wade's had asked police to check on his well being.
Wade's car was located Wednesday afternoon at another location in Oakland.
An autopsy was conducted Wednesday at the State Medical Examiner's Office.
Police are now seeking information from anyone who had contact with Wade in the past few days as they continue the investigation. Anyone with information should call State Police in Augusta at (207) 624-7076 or Oakland Police.
